Dan’s "Bible In A Year" Project

A dedicated man of faith and a graduate of Bible college, Dan Stacy's life and career are guided by his profound spiritual convictions. For years, he served as both a minister and music director, roles that allowed him to inspire and lead others through worship and community.

This deep commitment extends beyond the traditional pulpit. For over ten years, Dan has been hosting "Bible In A Year," a weekly gathering where he leads a journey through the entire Bible in a year. This initiative, which began with a small group of colleagues in the Capitol, has since become a cornerstone of his outreach. Through this project, Dan fosters a deeper understanding of scripture, demonstrating his belief that the Bible's timeless wisdom is the foundation for a life of purpose and principled leadership. It is this very dedication to faith and truth that defines his character and fuels his work.

A Journey of Faith and Understanding

To My Esteemed Colleagues,

The very foundation of our nation was built upon the profound belief that our rights are not granted by man, but endowed by our Creator. This timeless principle, championed by our Founding Fathers, was often underscored by their deep understanding of the Bible as a guide for not just our public leaders, but for everyone.

Yet, in our modern world, at worst we keep ourselves ignorant by neglecting to regularly read the entire Bible and learn the truths contained therein, or at best we often treat this influential text as a mere collection of verses, a "smorgasbord" from which to pick and choose. But the Bible is so much more. Written over a millennium, it is a grand narrative, a sweeping exploration of human existence and a timeless roadmap for our lives.

This is why some of us in the Capitol and others across the country have embarked on a journey of discovery—a commitment to read and understand the entire Bible, not just isolated passages. We begin this quest in January and continue to meet to discuss its truths.  However, one can join anytime throughout the year.

I invite you to join us. Dedicate a few minutes each day to reading the Bible in our Reading Plan, and then join our weekly WebMeeting on Wednesdays at 8:00 PM Live on Zoom or available as a recording on Rumble. It's an opportunity for instruction, camaraderie, and a shared pursuit of truth.
